HORSE STRUCK BY CAR.

MISHAP TO MAORI BOY. HURLED THROUGH WINDSCREEN. [by telegraph.—own correspondent. ] HAMILTON. Wednesday. A service car in which a party of clergymen was travelling from Taranaki to attend the Waikato Syno;J at Hamilton struck a horse ridden by a Maori boy near Mahoenui. The rider was hurled through the windscreen and sustained cuts to the face. After receiving attention the boy was taken to Pinpio. The radiator and lamps of the car were dam aged and the windscreen shattered.
