Dr. Marrett has just defied the General Medical Council by accepting a post as anaesthetist to Mr. A. F. Kennard, a bonesetter, of Harley Street, who was formerly a boilermaker. Mr. Marrett has announced his intention of assisting Mr. Kennard even if he is struck off the register. Tho doctor, who was for many years house surgeon at the West London Hospital, added: "An experienced osteopath may practise without danger, %nd if he can do good he should in the public interest be encouraged, not jumped on."
