GREAT OILFIELD FIRE.
FOUR WELLS DESTROYED. OUTBREAK AFTER EXPLOSION. (Received June 29, 1.5 a.m.) Sun. NEW" YORK. June 28. The outbreak of fire at the oilfield on Alamitos Heights, at Long Bench, California, destroyed four oil wells and damaged others. The fire was caused by -an. explosion in the Julian Oil Company's No. 1 well.
