STRANDED RIVERINA.

MARINE COURT INQUIRY. EVIDENCE OF THE .CAPTAIN. (Received June 28, 11.19 p.m.) A. and N.Z. SYDNEY. June 28. She experienced fresh weather until Sunday morning, when the wind lose to a gale and heavy seas from the south-east were encountered, The visibility became bad and toward dusk the thick clouds overhead were accompanied by liervy ram. The vessel went, ashore one ami a-lialt miles from Gabo Island, off the coast, ol Victoria, at 7.15 p.m. on a snrfdy bottom. The ship' carried 142 passengers and her crew numbered about 100 men. All were safely landed subsequently.
