MILFORD PROGRESS.
SHERIFF'S CORNER BRIDGE. Tho handsome three-tier concrete bridge which crosses tho Wairau Stream at Sheriff's Corner, Milford, Takapuna, will lie oflicially opened for traffic by the Mayor of Takapuna, Mr. J. W. Williamson, tomorrow morning. The bridge is 66ft. wide and 50ft. long, and was erected at a cost of £3885, by Mr. W. Holmes, builder and contractor, under the supervision of tho borough engineer, Mr. A. Slinger. For many years a small wooden bridge served as the only crossing over the stream, and its replacement by the new structure will fulfil a long-felt want in the district.
