The Railway Department does not propose to hold an inquiry into the collision 1 Between a locomotive and tram at Colombo Street level crossing yesterday. The fact has been established that the mishap took place as the result of the driver of the locomotive failing to observe that the signal was against him, probably owing to visibility being bad in the rain and fog- __________
