THE BRITISH CAR.

Sir, —I see that the British motor traders have delegates studying conditions and requirements for motors in New Zealand. I suppose they, like other British motor representatives, will confine themselves to making inquiries from tile cities and main towns. I should suggest that they take a tour over to Xawhia or over the Kaimai Hill to Tauranga and on some of our bad country roads. They then would be able to understand why the American car has the trade of New Zealand. For service- work, we cannot consider the English car as it is at present constructed. I would prefer to buy cars of English make, but they are unsuited to service work. N. D. Robertson. Hamilton, June 7.
