MR. HOLLAND AT OPQTIKI. ■ r BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT 1 OPOTIKI. Monday. The Leader of the Opposition, Mr. H V Hollvid, addressed a crowded meeting on Saturday evening, the Mayor, Mr G. S. Moody, presiding. Mr. Holland dealt at length with land questions. He quoted figures to show how mortgage? had increased since the Eeform Party came into power. He also gave figure? showing the high costs of landlr^ s fers which, he srgued, should be piu throueh bv the Lands Department.
