METHODIST COLLEGE.
TENDER FOR CONSTRUCTION. EARLY START TO BE MADE. An early start is to be made with construction of the Methodist Theological College building, at the corner of Grafton Road and Carlton Gore Road. The tender of ilr. C. W. Ravenhall at £34,160 has been accepted, the next lowest tender being £35,325. The Methodist Church should have no difficulty in erecting and equipping the building free of debt. Already over £44 000 has been collected, chiefly through the agencv of the Rev. Dr. C. H. Laws, principal 'of the college, who has con ducted a Dominion-wide appeal. The building is to be of brick with stone facings, and should he completed m El 8 months.
