No time will be lost in arranging for the Auckland provincial cross-country championship, and the selection of a team to represent Auckland at the Dominion crosscountry championship meeting to be held in Christchurch. It is possible tho Auckland championship will be contested about the end of June, and the team to compete in Christchurch will be chosen immediately after this event. The Australian and New Zealand crosscountry championship meeting will be held at Adelaide on August 6. Two years ago this championship was decided at Hutt, Wellington, when Bardolph Rose won with ease. On his present form Kose is certain to be the first man chosen for the Adelaide trip, and there will be,keen competition f°r the other places in tho team. It is probable the Auckland provincial amateur cycling road race championship will be decided in conjunction with the crosscountry championship. This race will pave the way for the New Zealand amateur *0 miles cycling road race championship to be decided in Auckland this winter.
