A complaint emanating from Christ- \ church that the Government had treated ! local bodies unfairly in placing a limit |jof £4OO on the subsidy for expenditure 'connected with the reception to the Duke Duchess of York was referred to-day to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Hon. JL F. Bollard. His reply was that £4OO was granted in accordance with the arrangements by the Government, but in view of further representations inquiries w»re being made.
