Sitting with him weir#* Messrs, A, Thompson, L. B. Campbell. B. H. Boiler and G. Grey Campbell. Appeal* were lodged by the Takapunn •Trajnways and Ferry Company, Ltd., and Takapuna Borough Council (Mr. Lowry) against the granting of a licence to Ernest Eady (Mr. Gaze) to conduct a motorbna service from Brown's Bay to Devonport. It was reported that in the ease of the ferry company an agreejaent tod already been reached on the Hm that Eady should neither pick up nor set down 10 the Takapuna Borough any paas?np;erii sxoept those from Brown'u Bay or other points north of Takapuna. In view of altered condition# since th» appeal# were laid, applications w«rs vesterday made and granted lor thrnr withdrawal from the jurisdiction of the hoard. They will now be submitted to No. 2 Licensing Authority for settlement, Leonard John Keys (Mr. V. B. Meredith) appealed against* the granting of a hecnce to the Auckland City Council U> ran a motor service from Kemuera tram termmus to M««dowbank Bond, and sub antted a farther appeal against the fares penalty impose! upon his fit.
