Speeds of over 90 mile.) an hour were attained hy both cars and cycles. The results were:— Moto?-Cycla Events. Waimatuku Handicap, 3 miles.—L. H. Johnston (A.J.S.), aer., 1; D. Huberts (Harley), 255., 2. Five started. Time. 3.55. Invercargill Handicap, 6 miles,—L, B. Johnston (A.J.S.), scr., 1; J. Gorton (A.J.S.), 305.. 2. Five started Won easily. Time, 7-40. Pacific Handicap, 21 miles.—L. H. Johnston {A.J.S,), 205., 1; 11. Whit© (A.J.S. 1, 705., 2;; C. Rhodes (Indian), &cr., 3. Four started. Johnston won at 81 miles an hour and exceeded 91 miles at other stages of the race. Time, 24.20. M.otor-Oar Events. Gladstone Handicap.—D. Basrd (Chrysier), 1605,, 1; J.
