RACE FROCKS.

} ATTRACTIVE TOILETS. | TRIM TAILOR-MADE SUITS. The frocking at the Avondale Jockey Club's, Autumn Meeting, which opened on Saturday at Ellerslie, showed a strong predilection for trim tailor-made suits and ensembles. Fur stoles, slung across the shoulders, gave an attractive finish to many smart toilets and choker necklets of fur were also most becomingly worn. Fur wraps were to be seen in infinite variety, and full-length coats, with deep cape collars buttoned closely up the neck, and the little felt hats pulled well down, on the head, gave a chic air of cosiness, in the latter part of the day, when the weather turned wet and showery.
