} ATTRACTIVE TOILETS. | TRIM TAILOR-MADE SUITS. The frocking at the Avondale Jockey Club's, Autumn Meeting, which opened on Saturday at Ellerslie, showed a strong predilection for trim tailor-made suits and ensembles. Fur stoles, slung across the shoulders, gave an attractive finish to many smart toilets and choker necklets of fur were also most becomingly worn. Fur wraps were to be seen in infinite variety, and full-length coats, with deep cape collars buttoned closely up the neck, and the little felt hats pulled well down, on the head, gave a chic air of cosiness, in the latter part of the day, when the weather turned wet and showery. Among those present were: Mrs. T. H. Lowry, wearing a black floral ninon frock and black hat trimmed with flowers; Mrs. Swaby, sanatai sedan cloth suit and vagabond hat in rose and blue velour; Mrs. Grawhame Watson, buff-shaded suit of frisca bound in silk, braided to tone and buff-shaded felt hat; Mrs. Gage Williams, sand-coloured cloth suit with fur collar and sand-coloured felt hat; Mrs. Savage, black marocain frock and small black hat with cluster of mauve flowers; Mrs. N. Abbott, navy-blue crepe de chine frock embossed in scarlet and gold and hat of sanatai lesere straw; Mrs. Percy Upton, plum-coloured ensemble suit and hat in cyclamen shades; Mrs. Vailentine, grey tweed coat and skirt and almondgreen felt hat with feather mount; Mrs. Colbeck, cigar-brown marocain frock relieved with beige and beige hat; Mrs. A.
