Paul Poiret, the famous Parisian dress designer, has appealed to women to wear odd-coloured stockings. k He says he is tired of seeing women all dress alike in the same hats, the same dresses, and the same differentiation of colour. "Woman has two legs," he said. "Why should not one have a dark stocking and one a light one ? The time has arrived for a change."
