For many months past the railway service between Onerahi and Whangarei, a distance of about miles, has been of a skeleton nature, passenger traffic having reached the vanishing pointy From May 1 this service will be discontinued, and shipping traffic will be worked by shunting services. Onerahi children attending the Whangarei High School will have to travel by road„
