WEEK-END weather. HERALD'S SPECIAL FORECAST. The following weather forecast for 48 hours from 7 a.m., to-day was supplied to us by Mr. li. M. Vincent last evening:— The general outlook for the week-end indicates unsettled weather prevailing, with occasional showers, particularly in west coast districts ancl southern areas. Line intervals are expected to intervene. Westerly to south-westerly winds, modetato to strong, squally at times. Seas moderately rough on west coast. Barometer, midnight, falling .. 29.85 in. The Government meteorologist reported last, evening as follows: —Present indications are for moderato to strong southwesterly winds northward of New Plymouth and Napier and south-westerly winds elsewhere; weather colder generally, with heavy showers, particularly in the western and southern districts.
