Running under the auspices of the Shaw, Savill and Albion Lino, the White Star steamer Horatiua is to leave Wellington on Tuesday for Gisborne: and Auckland to complete loading. The_ Union Company's motor ship Hauraki is to leave Suva to-day for Fanning Island and Vancouver. After unloading Fiji sugar at Vancouver she will load general merchandise at Pacific Coast ports for Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney. SOUTHERN CROSS SAILED. After being delayed at Auckland for two days by adverse weather conditions the Melanesian Mission steam en? Southern Croas sailed yesterday morning for New Hebrides and Solomon Islands with the launch Mavis in tow. After visiting the numerous mission stations in the south-west Pacific the steamer ia scheduled to return to Auckland on July 8. THE KIA ORA. The Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Kia Ora is to leave Dunedin to-day for Oamaru, Bluff. Wellington and Auckland to fill up with New Zealand produce for New York, Boston and London. She is to be despatched from this port for New York on April 27. THE BARON ARDROSSAN. After unloading a full cargo of Cuban sugar at Chelsea the steamer Baroh Ardrossan is to sail this afternoon for Port Kembla to bunker before she proceeds to South Australian ports to load wheat for Europe. It was formerly arranged that she would replenish her bunkers at W es tport. SULPHUR FROM TEXAS. Scheduled to sail from Galveston, Texas, next Tuesday the steamer Persian Prince is bringing a cargo of sulphur for discharge at Auckland, Lyttelton, Wanganui and New Plymoutn. She is expected at Auckland about May 20. REPAIRS TO ' NORTHUMBERLAND. The work of repairing the steamer Northumberland is being completed well under contract time and the vessel is to come out of dock on April 16. She is scheduled to commence loading at Auckland on April 20 and afterwards at Tokomaru Bay, Gisborne, Waikokopu, Napier and Wellington. She is to be despatched from Wellington for London on May 17.

CROSSKEYS DUE SHORTLY. No wireless advice had been received yesterday from the American steamer Crosskeys, Which ia scheduled to arrive about Monday from San Pedro. She is bringing lumber, ca3e oil and general merchandise from Pacific Coast ports for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin. Henderson and Macfarlane Limited, are the local agents. NIAGARA DUE ON MONDAY. With passengers and mail for Aucklandthe Royal Mail liner Niagara is due about six o'clock on Monday morning from Sydney. She will beith at Queen's Wharf. After loading cargo and mail and embarking passengers from New Zeaalnd the vessel is to resume her voyage to Suva. Honolulu and Vancouver at eleven o'clock, on Tuesday moffiine RAROTQNGAN FRUIT TRADE. The Union Company's! Eastern Pacific cargo service is to be resumed .next month by the Waipahi, itfhich is being converted into an oil-Durner at Port Chalmers. The work will be completed this month, and on May 5 the vessel in to be despatched from Auckland for Rarotonga, and other island ports, where she will load fruit for her return voyage. MARAMA AND MAUNGANUI. The Union Company's intercolonial steamers Marama and Maunganui 'were despatched from Sydnesi> 3 r esterday afternoon with passengers, mail and cargo for New Zealand. The Marama sailed at. four o'clock for Auckland, and the" Maunganui half an hour later for Wellington. Both vessels ure duo at their destinations early on Tuesday morning. THE CANADIAN CHALLENGER. The Canadian Challenger sailed last evening for Wellington, Lyttelton. Timaru and Dunedin to complete unloading cargo from Halifax. The vessel will also load in the South and then return to Auckland to fill up with general cargo. She is due back at Auckland on April 29 and the following day she is to be despatched for New Yoik. Boston and Montreal. & ' THE CITY OF KHOIS. Running under the nuspices of the A. and A. Line the Ellerman Hall Line steamer City of Khois is due from New York to-morrow morning. She is bringing case oil and general merchandise for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Hobart and Port Pirie. Cargo for this port will be unloaded at Prince's Wharf to the agency of the New Zealand Shipping Company. The vessel was formerly named the Reydall Hall and her tonnage is 5580 gross. She was built at Glasgow in 1925. RARANGA ARRIVED. An arrival at Auckland shortly after midday yesterday was the Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Raranga from London. She is berthed at Prince's Wharf. Her cargo of general merchandise is for disoharjje at Auckland, Port Chalmens, Bluff and Nelson. The vessel sailed from London on February 26, and; encountered strong westerly winds and rough head seas until she was wall past the Azores. In consequence §he reached Panama on March 16, having only averaged 11.1 knots. Next day she cleared Balboa.
