EXPLOSION AT DRURY.
OPENING OF THE INQUEST. An inquest into the death of Mr. George Rolton. of 30, Clarke Road, Papa kura, who died from injuries received at the tannery explosion at Drury on Wednesday morning, was opened before the coroner, Mr. W. R. McKean, S.M., yesterday morning. After evidence of identification had been taken the inquest was adjourned. Alexander Donald, of Pukekohe, who sustained a serious laceration of the side and thighs, was last evening reported to be progressing favourably.
