AUCKLAND STOCK EXCHANGE SATURDAY MORNING'S BUSINESS. Activity on the Auckland sharemarket on Saturday was confined to the mining section, Lucky Shots again attracting moat attention. There was inquiry for the majority of the Government securities at late rates but no business passed. In banks there were only minor changeson Friday's closing rates. Quotations of £SO for New South. Wales attracted offers of £4B 15s. Unions of Australia firmed to £ls 7 s 6d, but no offers were made. In insurance New Zeafands were 3d easier at 36s 9d, buyers unchanged at 365. South British quotations were 3d firmer at 56s 3d, buyers offering 55s 9d as on the previous day. In miscellaneous offers- of £53 for Colonial Sugars failed to attract quotations. Wilsons Cement at 36a 6d had offers of 35s 3d. In mining Golden Age sold at IQd, the contributing issue being done at 6-Jjd and 7d. Lucky Shots were firmer, the market closing at 3s 9d and 3s 7d for both issues, compared with 3s Id and 2s lid and 3s and 2s lOd for (he paid and contributing issues respectively on Friday. Sales were made in the paid issue at 3s 3d and 3s 6d, and in the contributing at from 3s to 3s 7d. The following sales took place:—Golden Age, lOd; Golden Age, contributing, 62c!, 7d ; Lucky Shot, 3s 3d. 3s 6d: Lucky Shot, contributing, 3s, 3s Id, 3s 2d, 3s' 4d, 3s sd, 3s 6d, 3s 7d; New Waiotahi, Is 6d.
