DEATH BY DROWNING.
WAIMARAMA FATALITY. RESCUE ATTEMPTS COMMENDED. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] HASTINGS. Tuesday. At an inquest concerning the death of Alexander Mitchell Wighton, who was drowned at Waimarama while bathing on Sunday, the coroner, in returning a verdict of accidentally drowned, said the conduct of everyone concerned was most commendable, especially that of Miss Doris Bone, who had shown fine courage in risking her life.
