A TROPICAL DELUGE.
BUSINESS PLACES INVADED.

Starting in all the brilliance of summer judging day at the Darinevirke A. and P. Association's annual show concluded with a thunderstorm lasting nearly an hour, accompanied by a tropical deluge .which drove all who could get there to shelter. The downpour temporarily flooded thg streets of the town and caused water to invade several business places in High Street. Nearly 2in. of rain fell and but for the inconvenience occasioned it did practically no harm so far as the show is concerned. • <
