PRICE OF FERTILISERS.
QUESTION OF A SUBSIDY. A request was recently made to the Auckland Chamber of Commerce by the Kaipara chamber for support in asking for a direct Government subsidy on fertilisers. The council of the Auckland chamber at its monthly meeting decided to reply that, as the price of locallv-inade fertilisers had been much reduced, it saw no need for action.
