MOUNT EDEN BOROUGH.
ROAD AND SEWAGE WORKS. The Mount Eden Borough Council met last evening, the Mayor, Mr. E. H. Potiter, presiding. _The tender of Messrs. W. R. Leighion, £3498, was accepted for reconstruction work on Landscape Road. For laying down Walters Road in bitumen, the "tender of British Pavements, £763, was accepted. The tender of Messrs. Griuter Brothers, £2805. for constructing a sewer in Grange Road, was accepted. The Deputy-Mayor, Mr. A. M. Bryden, the town* clerk, Mr. S. Gray, and' Mr. J. M. Melville were appointed delegates to the Municipal Conference at I'aimerston North on February 9.
