MOTOR LAUNCH EVENTS.

SPEED CHAMPIONSHIP RACE. A DISAPPOINTING CONTEST. The races for motor-boats provided some interesting and spectacular contests, although the principal event, the speed boat championship, proved disappointing. A novel feature were the races for outboard motors, which were included in the programme for the first time.
