ACCIDENT IN A MINE;. . THE MANAGER KILLED. FORMER THAMES STUDENT* . [BY TKUEGRAI'B—EEESS . ASSOCIATION.} BLENHEIM, Thursday. A tol si phone communication received in Blenheim this afternoon from Deep Creek reported the death oi Mr. T„ A. Harrison,, mine manager, as the result of a fall of rock in tiie Golden Bar mine. Particulars of the fatality are not yet to hand. The late Mr. llarrjison, who was about 40 years of ago, bad occupied the position of mine manager at the Golden Bar for several years, and was well-known in Blenheim, which lie 1 frequently visited He was', a married man. ■ ,<.» ■■ The deceased was a graduate of the School of Mines, Thames, and a few years ago visited, Canada on behalf of a local syndicate. . .
