DOBSON MINE DISASTER.

CAUSE OF THE TRAGEDY. FULL INQUIRY TO BE HELD. [BY TELEGRAPH, —OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] WELLINGTON. Thursday. The Minister of Mines, Hon. G. J. Anderson, returned to-day from the West Coast, where, among other official'duties, be paid a visit to the scene of the Dobson mint! disaster. Mr. Anderson stated to-day that it would b© some considerable time before the mine could be"dewatered" and before inspections could be carried out to ascertain the cause of the explosion and to recover the bodies of the entombed; miners. As soon as possible a full inquiry would be held concerning the tragedy, and every effort would be made to learn the cause of the disaster.
