TOUR OF MR. COATES.
BUSY DAY AT LIVERPOOL. j VISIT TO BATTLEFIELDS. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, Doc. 14. The Prime Minister of New Zealand, Mr. J. G. Coates, and the High Commissioner, Sir James Parr, visited Liverpool to-day and inspected the docks. They met many business men interested in the New Zealand trade. They lunched ■with members of the Dock. Board, after which they visited the Cotton, Corn and Provision .Exchanges, where they urged the members to buy Empire goods in preference to foreign goods. After visiting the; Cathedral and the Town Hall Mr. Coates and Sir James Parr returned to London. " Mr. Coates attended a reception given by the Lord Mayor, and both afterwards welcomed Prince George on his return from China. Mr. Coates and Mrs. Coates dined with the Prince. Later Mr. Coates left for France, where jfco will visit the battlefields.
