HAMILTON MOTORISTS.
STATUS OF ORGANISATION. [BY TELEOS.APH.~OWN CO3.XUJSPONBENT. ] . jBAMILTON, Wednesday. As a result of a discussion at the last meeting oil the Hamilton branch of the Auckland Automobile Association, when a committee was appointed to confer with the parent association at Auckland regarding telbe status of the Hamilton body, a meeting w,as held last evening to consider the position. ' The secretary, Mr. J. Gilbert, said Mr. Hutchinson, secretary of the Auckland Association, had intimated to him that the proposed conference was unnecessary and (that the Hamilton organisation would remain a brancli and not he converted into an agency without :its consent. It was considered, bow«vef, that contribution should be paid to the Auckland Association a.t the rate 1 of 7s Sd per member. A resolution was finally carried that a conference should not be held. Mr. F. W. .Luxford gave notice of motion that the resolution should be rescinded. After considerable discussion It was decided ' to defer paying 7s 6d from each financial member to the Auckland Association, until the report was. received from the committee net up to inquire into the branch finance.
