GRASS IN STREETS.
MOUNT ALBERT REVENUE. Usually tall grass growing at the sides of streets is looked upon as & nuisance by local bodies, as well as residents. However, it evidently proves a source of revenue to the Mount Albert Borough Council, for at. the council meeting last evening, two applications were received from men to cut grass bordering streets in i - 10 borough and both offered to pay the council a percentage of the takings ffoin the sale of grass seed.
