THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL.
NORTHERN TOUR NEXT MONTH Their Excellencies the GovMnof- General, Sir Charles Fcrgusson, and Ladv Alice Fcrgusson have arranged to pay official visits to Whangarei and Dargaville next month, arriving in Whangarei on the afternoon of Monday, January 17. They will go by motor to Dargavilla on tho Wednesday morning, staying there until the following Friday, after which they will make a tour of centres further north. Their Excellencies presented the prizes, at the Auckland Girls' Grammar School yesterday afternoon and at tho Epsom Girls' Grammar School in tho evening. The Governor-General will present the prizes at King's College this afternoon and at tho Auckland Grammar School this evening. :
