FAREWELL GARDEN PARTY.

SIR JAMES AND LADY GUNSON A most enjoyable garden party was given yesterday afternoon by Mrs. F. Wilson, Mountain Road, in honour of Sir Jamas and Lady Gunson, who, with Miss Mary Wilson, will leave next month on a visit to England. The weather was ideally fine and in the bright sunshine tiie grounds looked most attractive with their gay flower beds and smooth lawns surourided by great sheltering trees. Most of the time was spent out of doors, whore, the guests roamed at will through the garden or sat in comfortable chairs under shady trees. Bright inspiriting music was supplied by a.string band and in the picturesque surroundings the light sUWim®r frocks that made a first appearance were . to be seen in colourful, groups that \yerc most, effective.
