FIGHT ENDS ABRUPTLY.
AN ILLEGAL BLOW. CONTESTANT DISQUALIFIED. [EY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] INVEKCARGILL, Tuesday. A boxing contest of 15 rounds, for a purse of £l5O, between Harry Casey and Lachie Macdonald this evening, had a most unusual ending. Up to the eighth round the fight was full of excitement. Early in the eighth Casey dropped to his knees coughing violently. Macdonald then struck his opponent on the face and was immediately disqualified amid uproar.
