EXCITING SYDNEY INCIDENT. t SON RESCUES HIS FATHER. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 5.5. p.m.) SYDNEY, Dec. 13. The return home of the well-known cricketer, Jack Gregory, nearly ended in a family tragedy. Gregory's father, when attempting to board the steamer on which Gregory was travelling, fell from a launch into the water and disappeared. The cricketer's brother jumped in and rescued his father after some difficulty.
