A FAMILY TRAGEDY.
DEATH OF MOTHER AND SON. " THINGS WOULD HAVE TO END." A. find ]S\Z. SYDNEY, Dec. 13. Further details are available of the double tragedy at Dulwich Hill, where Dr. J. A. Paling and his mother were found dead in their house. In Mrs. .'Paling's arm were found two broken needles, showing that acid had been injected and it is supposed Dr. Paling took some of the same poison. Mrs. Paling was an invalid and her son was suffering from depression. It is recalled that on Saturday he told his friends that things would have to come to an end.
Dr. Paling had a distinguished university career. He was not married.
