CORNWALL PARK CLUB. The Cornwall Park Racing Pigeon. Club flew a race from Te Awamutu recently. Results;— Mr. Rothery's roc Clean Sweep, 1; Mr. Mortenson's b c c Master Onslow, 2; Messrs. Mcßros' be h War Cry, 3. Also flew: Messrs. Wattam Bros.' in o Silver Star. The club Hew a race irom Tauiaarunui on Saturday. Results:—Mr. Rothery's be h Little Hope (velocity 1328 yds per minute) 1; Wattam Bios.' b c p h Lady Dye (1320 yds), 2; Mr. Fullerton's b c c Dux (1315 yds), 3. • AVONIA CLUB. The Avonia Pigeon Flying Club flew a race from Wellington, an airline distance of 307 miles, in fair weather on Saturday. In spite of an easterly wind, the birdß made good progress. They were liberated at 6.30 a.m., and the winner homed shortly before 2 p.m. Results:—Mr. H. Clay's roc Homeward Bound (velocity 1208 yds per minute), A; Mr. J. Wilson's m o Air King (1191yds>, 2; Mr. S. Litchfield's m c Star Ranger (1190 yds), 3„ PREMIER CLUB. The Premier Pigeon Plying Club held a race from Taumarunui, an airline distance of 143 miles, on Saturday. Results:— Mr. J. Green's boo The Btork (velocity 1201 yds per minute), 1; Mr. R. McCarthy's b c c Master Noel (1199 yds), 2; Mr. W, Knight's bo p c Eureka Warrior (1198 yds), 3. Also flew: Mr. C. Ryan's blk c c The Vulture (1162 yds); Mr. H. Riggs' bob Golden Creation (1103 yds); Mr. L. Strange's boh Venus (1088 yds). Mr. W. Watson has presented a medal for the winner of tho club's Blenheim race. AUCKLAND FEDERATION. The Auckland Homing Pigeon Federation flew a race from Blenheim, an airline distance of 227 miles, on Saturday. A close race resulted, the winner covering the distance under eight hours.
