THE FIRST GAMES PLAYED. RESULTS IN SECOND ROUND. POSITIONS AND PERCENTAGES. The' Auckland Bowling Centre's pennant competition was commenced on' Saturday afternoon, when the second round was played, the first round having been postponed to a later date on account of unfavourable weather. In spite of a tricky wind, playing conditions were very satisfactory, and many interesting games were fought out The features of the day's play were the high positions attained by West End in the A section and Rocky Nook in tho B section.
