Representatives of the P«iterangi JeTsey Club and the Te A wamautu Jersey Breeders' Association met this week in connection with the amalgamation of the two bodies. Mr. G. S. Clarke presided. After discussion the decision to amalgamate was confirmed. It was decided that the name of the new organisation be the Te Awamutu Jersey Cattle Club." The annual subscription was. fixed at ss. The rules approved were practically those of the old Te Awamiltu Club, with the addition of district organisers. The election of officers resulted:— Patron, Mr. G. M. A. Ahier; president, Mr. G. S. Clarke ; vice-president, Mr. F. J. Ryburn; secretary, Mr. J. G. Wynyard; organising secretary, Mr. S. (Hermann ; committee of management, Messrs. G. S. Clarke, F. J. Ryburn, C. Parker, A. Johnston, B. Candy, J. Mclvor and W. G. Macky; organisers, Messrs. Bones Kaipaki), Sifieet (Te Roro), W. Orr (Korakonui), Wilson (Te Mawhai), M. Coverdale (Te Kawa), and on® at Oksupo to be appointed. It was decided to organiue a bull sale next year, ahd that it be a recommendation that the sale be held not later than the second week in October.
