KAIPARA DAIRYING.

HERD-TESTING RETURNS. INCREASE IN THE AVERAGE. Dairying operations are proceeding satisfactorily in the Kaipara district {/his season. From a total of 1566 cows tested by the Kaipara Dairy Company's Herd Testing Association during November the average return was 35.711b. of butter-fat, compared with 35.181b. from a total of 1351 cows during November, 1925. The highest herd test was from 49 cows that averaged 11471b. of milk with a 4.25 test, giving an average return of 48.391b. of butter-fat. The lowest herd test was from 15 cows that averaged 4551b. of milk with a 3.9 test, giving an average return of 17.441b. of butter-fat.
