BURGLARIES AT BULLS.

two houses entered. WINE AND MONEY STOLEN. ' 1 [by telegraph.—press association.] MARTON. Friday . Early last evening the residence of Mr, J. B. Gaisford, the well-known, racehorse owner, situated on tho main road at Bulls, was broken into, and the sum of £2O in monßy, as well as a quantity of wine and some articles of clothing, was stolen. A suspicious person was seen near the house earlier, but he disappeared, leaving behind a ragged blue overcoat. Entrance to the house had been obtained : through a bedroom window. Search along . the Parawaoui Road revealed ' a broken bottle, indictaing that tho thief had consumed the 'wine. A few hours later it was found that the residence of Mr. W. J. Ellery, about two miles away, had also been entered while the occupar.its were milking/ a sum .pf £4 being taken.
