CARNIVAL WEEK EVENTS.
PROGRAMME FOR TO-DAY. The Royal Shqw Carnival Week was continued yesterday, when ban<3 performances were given in the city in the evening. The following is the programme for the remainder of the week:— To-dav.—Concluding day of RoyaJ Show. Championship ring competitions and novelty events. Finish of the bicycle road race from Hamilton at the Showground. Evening: Shop displays. Ponsonby Boys' Band parade in Karangahape Road and Qneen Street. To-morrow. Shop displays. Evening: Grand pageant of Newmarket Carnival Queen and fireworks display. Waterside Workers'" Band parade in Kafangahape Road and Queen Street. Special decorated motor-cycle parade. Saturday.—Shop displays. Otahubn Trotting Club's meeting. Evening: Port Auckland Band parade in Quesn Street and Karangahape Road. Municipal Band, Town Hall.
