The Dominion Homing Club held its old bird championship from Johnsonville during the we*k-end, Owing to late liberation and bad weather conditions, the race waa declared open for two days, and the winning bird, Mrs. L. Cantell's r c c Sansiar, homed early on Sunday morning. The results are: —L. Cantell's r c c Sanstar, velocity 605 yds. per minute, 1; A. Parke's b c c Lord Thurnham. COiyds,, 2; G. Jackpan's bee Comet, 587 yds., 3. Also flew: J. Hipwell's b c c Bonny Boy. 482 yds.; A. Bedford's b p h Pigeon Grit, 451 yds.; F. Milk&m's b b p h Havoc, 338 yds. At the close of race time only six birds out of 40 sent had regained their lofts.
