QUESTION FOR TE AWAMUTU.

In connection with the forthcoming poll on the question of establishing a Fire Board in Te Awamutu, the Borough Coun cil and Chamber of Commerce invited Mr. John McKmnon, chairman of the Hamilton Fire Board, to address a public meeting at Te Awamutu, Mr. McKinnon gave an interesting account of the Hamilton borough's experience, Loth before and sinco the Fin* Board was established in 1913, and snmmed up decidedly in favour of conditions under the board. Te Awamutu ratepayers were recommended to adopt the same system. The poll takes place next Wednesday in conjunction with the poll on the unimproved value system of rating.
