An unexpected arrival at Auckland last evening was the small steamer Gunbar, en route from Port Stephen with noles for discharge at Gisbome. The Gunbar is a twin-screw steamer of 482 tons and was built at Ardrossan in 1011. She.was owned bv the North Coast Steam Navigation Co., Ltd., 'of Sydney, and it is understood she has been eold to an East Coast company which intends running her in the coastal trade between East Coast ports and Auckland. The Government steamer Hinemoa is expected to leave Norfolk Island to-morrow morning on her return journey to Auckland. The latest advice received by the British Imperial Oil Company from the Norwegian motor-tanker Lisa states she will arrive from Singapore to-morrow morning. She will berth at Western Wharf to pump a large quantity of bulk oil into the company's new tanks at Freeman's Bay. The delayed arrival of the vessel at this nort has been caused by her calling at Melbourne, on route from Singapore. WITHIN WIRELESS RANGE.
