ROOM IN A TRADES HALL. [BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] CHBISTCHURCH. Wednesday. An unusual case was called before Mr. H. P. Lawry, S.M., to-day, when Henry Francis Mase was charged with having kept a common gaming house in a room of the Trades Hall, and also with establishing a scheme by which prizes were gained by mode of chance. The hearing of the case was adjourned.
