PARENTS SENT TO PRISON. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Recdß. 1.10 a.m.) LONDON. Oct. 26. Janet Jenkinson and h«r husband, who were charged at Manchester with cruelty to their three children, were each sentenced to nine months' hard labour. It was stated that accused went away and left the children imprisoned for three days in a small bedroom, with only nine slices of bread and margarine and some water. The door was locked and the ' handle was tied with rope.
