ANZAC AVENUE TRAMS.

Sir,—Now that the City Council is taking over tho bus services it is to bo hoped the tramway authorities will make some effort to use the Anzac Avenue route. In the past the long intervals between trams, both up and down tho Avenue, have been tho cause of much inconvenience, and more astonishment. This extraordinary neglect to cater for the public played rignt into the hands of tho bus proprietors, who secured practically all the traffic offering on this section. It will be interesting to see if the City Council does anything to fill the gap caused by the withdrawal of the buses during the greater part of the day. If it does not we will have to walk. Passenger.
