FAST PASSENGER SHIPS.
LONDON TO RIVER PLATE. j ORDER FOR FIVE VESSELS. Australian and N.Z. Coble Association. (Reed. 9.35 p.m.) LONDON. Oct. 13. The Royal Mail and Nelson Steamship Lines are conducting negotiations for five fast passenger ships. The vessels will be insulated and of 15,000 tons capacity. They will be used for trading purposes between London and the River Plate. The first ship will be laid down when the coal strike has been settled.
