TOURING LEAGUE TEAM.
BRAMLEY SIDE DEFEATED. THIRTY-FIVE POINTS TO 12, Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 7.S p.m.) LONDON, Oct. 13. The New Zealand Rugby League footballers to-day defeated Bramley by 35 points to 12. There were 2000 spectators. The visitors' team was as follows: Gregory, Gardiner, SauncTers, Parkes, Brisbane, 3>esmond, Tasker, Delgrosso, Henry, I>evine, Herring, Mason and Avery. The young Bramley players were no match for their speedy opponents. Bramley won the toss and the visitors started with the sun and wind in their faces. Harrison (Bramley) scored a try, which Robinson converted. After give-and-take play, the New Zealanders crossed the line four Times, Avery and Brown each scoring two tries, which were not converted. The visitors led at the interval by 14 points to 7. The New Zealanders controlled the second half. Bramley occasionally showed up well and once crossed their opponents' line, Harrison scoring and Powell converting. The scorers for New Zealand in the second half were Parkes and Desmond (two tries each), Saunters (one). Delgrosso, Gardiner and Gregory converted three of these tries.
