AMOK WITH REVOLVER.
FOUR MEN WOUNDED. BANK ROBBER'S WILD DASH. Australian anrl N.Z. Cable Association, (flecd. 9.35 p.m.) LONDON. Oct. 14. A man entered a bank at Liverpool yesterday and held up the staff with a revolver. When the cashier attempted to prevent the intruder taking some silver from the counter the man fired. The cashier was seriously wounded. The thief then dashed into tho street. Ho was pursued by the manager of the bank, who called out, " Stop thief." A crowd ox peoplo joined in the chase and the thief fired point blank at two men. They were both wounded. A policeman who attempted to fell tho criminal with his baton was aiso wounded. Eventually the man was arrested. An examination showed that only a few shillings had been stolen. Two of the wounded men are in a fitical condition.
